Yoga Workouts

Welcome to yoga-workout.com, a site dedicated to providing you as many quality yoga workouts as possible.  With that said, we feel it is necessary to talk about yoga a little.  Yoga is not an exercise regimen.  There are actually eights limbs of yoga, of which asana (the poses) is the third limb.  Here is the west, when most people think of yoga, they think of asana and the incredible physical workout that you can receive from it.  Now, this is true, you can get a fantastic workout from the yoga poses most teachers teach in a western class, but calling that yoga, would be like mixing just one of eight ingredients to make a brownie in a bowl, throwing that single ingredient in the oven, and hoping to get a brownie out.  You won’t, because that’s not what makes a brownie just as asana isn’t what makes yoga, yoga.  It’s a single ingredient.

If we’re taking the time to speak about yoga workouts like this, why have we even created this website?  Because we know that once people have seen how delicious a brownie looks, they’ll want to make the entire recipe at some point.  We’re more than happy to provide people various instruction on asana in the hopes they start to see the full potential of yoga and begin to explore the additional seven of the eight limbs.

You’ll be receiving wonderful beginner, intermediate, and advanced yoga workouts on this site.  But please continue to take into account that there is more to yoga than just asana.  When you’re ready to delve deeper into the intricacies of yoga, we certainly hope you will.  Thank you and namaste yogis.
